Cambridge_Broadband_NetworksThe only route for mobile backhaul

Cambridge Broadband Networks, the point-to-multipoint cellular backhaul specialists appointed Babel PR near the end of 2007 to lead its campaign around Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona the following February.

Babel was tasked with positioning point to multipoint mobile backhaul as a key technology that meets industry demands to cope with increasing data and voice traffic. The aim was also to gain interest from the European market in Cambridge Broadband Networks' innovative product VectaStar and to position it as pivotal in handling mobile operators' backhaul requirements. Babel's proactive approach to media and analyst relations in the lead up to MWC resulted in briefings with top targets such as Total Telecom, Mobile Europe, 3G Wireless Broadband and the International Herald Tribune.

Since Mobile World Congress Babel has extended the Cambridge Broadband Networks' campaign to promote point to multipoint mobile backhaul within the UK and other EMEA markets. Significant coverage has been secured in a wide range of key UK, European and international media.
