Verimatrix, this issues based approach was designed to differentiate
Verimatrix from its competitors, positioning the company as a market
leader. Babel’s approach consisted of a media and analyst tour to
develop and reinforce relationships with the major influencers and
commentators in the sector, followed by extensive activity at the
industry’s blue ribbon event, IPTV World Forum and an ongoing programme
of relationship building. As well as working with the important trade
and technical media, meetings were arranged with mainstream business
titles. The team secured extensive coverage in prominent trade titles
such as Broadcast, Cable & Satellite International, C21 Media and
Euromedia. These wins, coupled with the by-line articles placed in key
publications including New Video Technology, TVB Europe and Telecoms
Europe, helped Verimatrix build significantly on its position as the
global number one provider of IPTV content security, whilst publicising
its growing reach into other pay-TV markets.
